This is a vintage Fred Zimbalist jewelry box in the shape of a seashell, made of nickel silver plated on brass. It features a Thorens music box that plays music. The jewelry box is lined with velvet and measures 7.5 inches in length and 6 inches in width. It is a unique and decorative piece for storing jewelry and other small items.
It plays music perfectly when opened. However I believe that the original player has been replaced - the clue was the original (not working) player and 2 screws that were found inside with the jewlery. I will ship the original with it too.
